Description – Hardy South African native has a compact neat shrub which is suited to pots, containers or garden beds. They have a striking purple flower from spring to summer. A shade lover, ideal for planting under trees or in shady low light locations. Water-wise once established becoming drought tolerant. Perfect border for mass planting with colourful foliage along pathways and drives, and in containers in covered areas.

Size Grows to 60cm high x 70cm wide.
Use - Quick growing shrub, great for low maintenance gardeners. Suitable for part to full shade conditions in courtyards, patios, containers, coastal or cottage gardens.
Position – A very adaptable plant growing in Light shade, half shade to heavy shade. Sub-tropical, Warm temperate, Cool temperate, Mediterranean, tolerates temperatures down to 0oC.
Maintenance – Very hardy, drought tolerant once established. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser during early spring. A light pruning after flowering will help to maintain a neat shape and encourage denser growth of foliage.
