Life Cycle of the Ladybug

Life Cycle of the Ladybug

Born hungry, ladybugs hatch on the run.

Hunting down the closest aphid and munching it down quickly before moving on to the next!

Once they eat enough aphids, they begin to pupate. Curling into an oval shape before unfurking some time later to be a fully grown ladybug.

Adult ladybugs find a partner and lay their eggs, repeating the cycle!

Pictured are ladybugs undertaking their life cycle on a flower of a Digiplexis Flamingo at our Nursery.
