Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Q: Where does Planters Patch Ship To?
A: We deliver to New South Wales (NSW), Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Victoria (VIC), Queensland (QLD) and South Australia (SA) using Australia Post (standard and express shipping methods available).
We CANNOT deliver to Tasmania or Western Australia unfortunately.
Q: Who does Planters Patch ship with?
A: We deliver using Australia Post (standard and express shipping methods available).
Q: When will I get my order?
A: We will dispatch your order as promptly as possible. However, as we are a small family owned business, at this stage we only ship once a week, unless order volume allows.
Dispatching occurs year-round, excluding weekends and Public Holidays. We also always pause shipping during December due to heat, higher demand on Australia Post and public holidays.
We keep an eye on any natural disasters or other network disturbances to ensure we do not send plants to customers who may be impacted by road closures or other circumstances which would greatly delay delivery.
Q: What size do the Plants I buy come in?
A: All of our plants are sent in 100mm or 140mm pots, we do not sell seeds, bulbs or tubers
Q: How many plants fit in a box?
A: We ship in boxes that carry 1, 3, 6, or 12 100mm plants OR 1, 3 or 7 140mm plants.
Ideal combination pot size qty's for shipping to allow for the best transit of your plant are as follows: 100mm x3 & 140mm x2 OR 100mm x6 & 140mm x4
Please note that we do send quantities outside of these. These numbers are simply for the most optimal packing. Any orders outside of these quantities are packed with the extra care to ensure plants do not shift during transit.
Q: When will you have more Proven Winners Petunia Supertunias?
A: We always announce on our socials/website when we have restocks of popular plants like Supertunias. If we don't have any in stock, we may be done for the season, we don't often have them in stock outside of spring. We plan to always have a batch ready for early spring every year!
Q: Where will you have more of a specific plant in stock?
A: Many of our plants are seasonal, so we don't have stock all year long. Plants like Dahlia and Geranium which go dormant over winter. We don't sell them over their dormancy period. We also like to sell a variety over the year and don't have everything the same all year. If you'd like to know when we will grow something next, please ask! We are happy to help!
