Phlomis is a very hardy garden shrub. Thriving in dry conditions and requires little care once established. Tolerates sun to part shade. Can be grown under deciduous trees that receive afternoon sun. Very unusual flower with whorls of deep yellow hooded flowers. Tolerates frost and coastal gardens. Attractive to bees.
