Description
A fabulous low ‘shrubby’ Salvia which has great tolerance of our hot, dry conditions. The flowers are on long stems of lavender-blue/white flowers with grape coloured bracts. A stunning display loved by the birds and bees, very valuable during the later seasons flowers. Flowering for a long period, this is a great addition to your garden giving a mid-range plant for your perennial boarder.
Care
Care
Very hard though deep watering is recommended during extended dry periods. Apply a slow release fertilizer after pruning in spring. Dead head throughout the year to encourage more flowering. Tolerant of frosts of around -2oC, re shooting in spring. Cover the roots with mulch during winter for the cold and summer for the dry. Cut back hard once your frosts have finished in spring.
